It’s estimated that organizations lose 5% of their revenues to fraud each year. Information gathered by those involved in investigating discovered fraud is collected by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and is published bi-annually. The ACFE report provides key information, including:
• the victim organizations,
• controls that were in place,
• how the fraud was perpetrated,
• how long the fraud was perpetrated,
• how the fraud was discovered,
• the losses incurred, and
• demographics of the fraudsters
This course will present the highlights from the 2024 ACFE Report to the Nations.
