This topic emphasizes Microsoft Teams best practices, Outlook new features and changes to the user interface, and how Outlook and Teams work together. Understanding Team roles, security, collaboration, file upload and sharing with SharePoint online, meetings, @mentions, chat, public and private channels, tabs, and apps.

Topic 2: Microsoft Office 365 OneDrive for Business, File Sharing, and Microsoft Teams
This topic emphasizes OneDrive for document storage, folder and file sharing and best practices for saving/managing documents, organizing folders and securing corporate data. Discussion will include how cloud storage increases business efficiency and security.

Topic 3: Microsoft Office 365 New Features Overview
Office 365 version E5 offers many application software programs as well as online version of many apps. This topic will compare desktop software, online, and mobile versions and focus on new business features available in the core programs.

Topic 2: OneDrive

  • Upload, copy, move, and delete files
  • Use File Explorer to manage files in OneDrive
  • Save and copy files to OneDrive from Office programs and other drives
  • Create folders
  • Share folders and files by inviting others to collaborate or create a link for someone to have access
  • Open shared files in the online app vs. the desktop app
  • Understand OneDrive AutoSave
  • Modify permission settings when sharing files for read-only or edit
