A/R Collections KPIs and Uses

Description

Accounts receivable is one of the largest assets and largest source of risk for many small and midsize businesses. However, many businesses still rely on simple aging statements and misunderstood days sales outstanding (DSO) metrics to measure, track and prioritize their efforts. This webcast reviews the issues and improvements to traditional DSO and introduces complementary metrics and techniques that businesses can use to boost cash flow and lower risk.

Learning Objectives

Generate, interpret and use KPIs such as DSO, average days delinquent (ADD), days beyond terms (DBT), and collection effectiveness index (CEI). Use more advanced tools that track and anticipate the payment risk of individual customers. Consider ways to manage and improve the dunning and collections processes.

Major Topics
  • Understand DSO and True DSO
  • Using ADD and DBT in combination with DSO
  • Benchmarking business and client collection performance
  • Advanced tools and options to improve collections performance
