Shirley is a co-founder and Director of Develop Global for 22 years. She has a background in management consulting and psychology and spent 10 years as a University Lecturer specialising in leadership and strategy. Shirley has extensive experience on all aspects of leadership development, strategic development and implementation, business partnering and corporate services development. She specialises in the linkages between psychology, leadership behaviour, culture and strategy. Since 2006 she has been focussing primarily on helping Finance functions develop skills in Business Partnering and reorganising their Finance functions to better suit this way of working. She has a wide range of Finance Business Partnering clients that she manages and delivers to, including for example, Associated British Ports, BUFDG, Molson Coors, Novelis, Sartorius, UCL and Vodafone, In addition to writing elearning and toolkits, she is co-author of the CIPD Business Partnering Toolkit and CIPFA’s ‘Transforming Corporate Services’ toolkit. Shirley has an MBA, is member of the CIPD and a Chartered Business Psychologist.
