CPE Credits
BLI calculates its recommended CPE credits based on a 50-minute CPE hour, which is in accordance with current CPE standards established jointly by the AICPA and NASBA.

CPE Credit Reporting
CPE requirements vary from state to state. Please refer to your state board or other entities to which you report CPE credit to determine their specific requirements.

CPE Credit for On-Demand Self-Study
To earn credit for a BLI self-study program, you must complete and pass a final exam with a score of 70% or higher. Upon successful completion of the program, a CPE certificate will be electronically delivered to you.

CPE Credit for Nano Learning
To earn the recommended .2 CPE credit hours for Nano learning programs, you must successfully pass a final exam, existing of two questions, with a score of 100%. If you do not sucessfully pass the final exam, you must re-take the course to re-take the exam. Upon successful completion of the program, a CPE certificate will be electronically delivered to you.

CPE Credit for Group Internet Based (Individual)
To earn credit for a BLI Group Internet Based program, an individual must log in at the beginning time of the program, participate throughout the program and log out at the program’s end time. To confirm your participation during the webcast you will be asked for a response to polling questions. Your responses will be tracked and noted as part of our CPE compliance requirements. Upon successful completion of the program, a CPE certificate will be electronically delivered to you.

CPE Credit for Group Internet Based (Small Group)
In situations in which small groups view a group Internet based program such that one person logs into the program and asks questions on behalf of the group, documentation of attendance is required in order to award CPE credits to the group of participants. Participation must be verified by the small group facilitator or administrator in order to authenticate attendance for program duration.

Program Evaluation
Participant evaluation forms are provided for every BLI program. We strongly urge each participant to complete the form. The results assist in determining the quality of the program, the effectiveness of the speaker(s), and help to ensure that the mandatory educational requirements have been met.

Record Retention Policy
BLI retains the following records for a minimum of five years: (1) program outline/materials; (2) Author/instructor, author/developer, and reviewer names and credentials. For accounting, auditing, or tax programs the state of licensure, license number, and status of license of the CPA or tax attorney acting as author/developer or reviewer. For the enrolled agent acting in such capacity for tax program(s), information regarding the enrolled agent number will be maintained. (3) records of participation; (4) date(s) and location(s) of presentation(s) or period during which program was available for purchase; (5) number of credits earned by participants; (6) results of program evaluations; (7) for self study programs – method 2 (word count formula) calculation and supporting documentation of CPE credit; (8) for group live programs – agenda, speaker notes or other documentation that evidences the element of engagement related to program content during each credit of CPE.
