Using Apprenticeships to Drive Recruitment, Retention, Upskilling and a More Inclusive Work Force

Professional apprenticeships are growing rapidly in the US as an effective means to recruit, retain, upskill and develop a more inclusive workforce in this tight labor market. This course is an introduction to AICPA’s registered apprenticeship program for Finance Business Partners, and outlines the skills and competencies that the program develops, as well as the features and benefits of apprenticeships in general.

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Identify the key components and roles and responsibilities of an apprenticeship
  • Recall the benefits of an apprenticeship, and advantages over other models of recruiting and upskilling
  • Determine funding opportunities and ROI for your organization from an apprenticeship
  • Critique the skills and competencies taught in AICPA’s Finance Leadership Program (FLP) as they apply to your workplace needs.
  • Analyze the suitability of apprenticeships in general and AICPA’s Registered Apprenticehip for Finance Partners (utilizing the FLP) for your organization
