The Behaviors of an Inclusive Team

A strong sense of belonging for every member of your team requires more than organizational strategies and bias awareness activities. For real impact, your employees need to learn specific behaviors at the individual level to increase a sense of belonging within your team. This session moves beyond the philosophical and teaches specific tools and behaviors that every employee can apply in day-to-day life, the behaviors of inclusive teams.

This course is available as a 2-hour or 4-hour program.


Learning Objectives

In this session, attendees will:

  • understand their impact as an individual on inclusion and belonging
  • grow their emotional intelligence and understand how EQ impacts inclusion and belonging
  • learn and apply actionable behaviors to improve inclusion within a team

Major Topics
  •  There are two parallel tracks required for driving impact in our quest for inclusion and belonging. Both are required for driving results. You’ll learn what they are and how they work together.
  • Sustained behaviors of inclusion require two things from individual employees: self awareness and action .
  • You’ll learn why self-awareness is the fuel of inclusion and walk away with a workout plan to build your EQ muscle.
  • Participants will hone in on meetings, language, work products, micro-behaviors and personal connections as pathways for personal impact.
  • Attendees will walk away with actionable items within their individual power to help build more inclusive teams with a stronger sense of belonging.
