Skills for Strategic Advisors: Facilitation

Being a successful advisor requires strong communication skills which includes the ability to facilitate meetings, discussions and thought leadership events. An advisor most be able to collect information and deliver it, often times to committees or leadership teams. Artful facilitation includes collaborating, gathering input, keeping a discussion productive, and presenting ideas clearly. The ability to facilitate effectively is a learned skill that will differentiate a professional.​
