Self-Belief for Peak Performance

Over the last few years, life has been increasingly unpredictable, with constant peaks and troughs to navigate through. As a result, individuals are facing more highs and lows in their professional (and personal) lives than ever before. This workshop focuses on enabling leaders to take a sensible and sensitive look at how individuals can identify the causes of stress, how to build resilience and how to become more assertive in the ever-changing and volatile workplace. The practical tools and techniques can be used for the leader and their team.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, leaders will be able to recognize how to maintain and build their self-esteem particularly during times of challenge and change. Participants are provided with practical tools and techniques, which can be put into effect immediately for themselves and for their team. Leaders will learn a set of effective guidelines, which are proven to manage levels of stress and build resilience. This includes understanding where self-belief comes from and how to nurture it, how to deal with constant change in a positive way, and how to build trust and confidence in yourself and others.

Major Topics

1. The workshop has been broken down into a series of inter-related topics to be delivered over the course of one day
2. Where self-belief and self-esteem comes from and how to build and maintain it on a continuous basis
3. How to give effective feedback
4. How to manage setbacks by seeing them as an opportunity to learn, develop and grow
5. How to create confidence and consideration to think and act assertively

The course is appropriate for leaders at any level. For example, new managers can learn how to create ‘good’ communication and leadership habits at the start of their career, middle-management benchmark those behaviours that may have become a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ habit, and more seasoned leaders use this as an opportunity to remind themselves of best practice leadership principles.
