Course ID: LEADACAD

Leadership Academy

Leadership development is the single biggest challenge, and the biggest opportunity, facing organizations today. This two-and-a-half-day program equips participants with the resources they need to forge relationships, expand their competencies, and empower them to become leaders.

The program is broken into three modules: Leading Yourself, Leading Others, and Leading Organizations.

Leading Yourself:
We believe in order to lead others, and ultimately organizations, you first must learn to lead yourself. Because of this, we spend significant time helping the participants identify and learn to leverage their own unique strengths and values. As Ken Blanchard says, “Feedback is the breakfast of champions.” We spend time discussing the importance of feedback, how to ask for it, how to receive it well, and most importantly, how to use it as fuel for growth.

Leading Others:
Whether you are managing a team of two or 100, there are tools to engage and get the most out of your team. We believe in order to get “buy-in” you need to let others “weigh in.” We teach our MBSN method of getting the wisdom of the team without “group think” and our facilitation and strategic thinking system to make collaborative thinking visual.

Leading Organizations:
Finally, only after learning to lead yourself and others well can you begin to lead organizations well. Here, we examine and experiment with frameworks for driving strategy, innovation and consistent execution.
