Compliance Project Package – Partnership Taxation

Transitioning from an academic environment to practice in public accounting can be difficult. The entry level tax staff needs to understand the reality that in tax practice, the information needed to solve a problem will not be provided to them like it is in most academic textbook problems. This course will allow the participant to be engaged in a realistic tax situation that presents compliance and planning opportunities.

Learning Objectives

After completing this course, you will be able to:

Identify documents and select which information is relevant for the tax scenario (Invoices, contracts, trial balance, partnership agreement, etc.)
Recall a basic Form 1065
Identify tax planning opportunities to discuss with clients
