Comedy in Conflict: Using Improv Principles to Navigate Tension and Build Stronger Teams

Conflict is inevitable—but it doesn’t have to be destructive. In fact, with the right mindset, conflict can be a powerful source of clarity and (with resolution) can forge stronger connections. Comedy in Conflict uses the unexpected tools of improv comedy to help professionals approach tension with curiosity, agility, and humor (when appropriate). This course brings the lessons of improvisational comedy into the workplace, revealing how great improvisers can lean into disagreement, manage emotions in real time, and co-create through collaboration.

Through hands-on activities, scene work, and reflection, participants will explore how to navigate conflict, shift unproductive conversation, and use improv as a leadership tool. If you’ve ever dreaded giving feedback, struggled to manage team tension, or just wanted better ways to respond under pressure—this course is for you.
